Youth/Choir Group

Young Leaders - Katie Kevis and Rosy Nevard are helping with this group now. I say this group, as the girls now meet weekly as a youth group with the practice as a choir taking place every other week. Our program has included fun and games, bible teaching, prayer, dance, drama and singing. We now have 8 girls in regular attendance weekly.

Dance/drama – we have been exploring an emphasis on dance and drama with Rosy putting together a choreographed dance which was performed at the last family service. I hope that this can continue as we seek to broaden the range and styles of worship that our younger members can engage with.

Cherry helping with music – my thanks to Cherry for stepping in to play the keyboard both in the practice sessions and at the ‘choir’ family services.

From November Roy and Jenny will be leading worship in both family services but due to their teaching commitments will not be able to make girls practice sessions, so thanks once again to Cherry.
